The Dark Time
I am a maker of functional clay work on Cape Cod. I work at The Barn Pottery in Pocasset with my life partner Kimberly Sheerin. Kim has worked in this studio more than 20 years. I joined her here four years ago, leaving my former Hatchville Pottery in Falmouth. We work together, making our own work, but occasionally collaborating. We're open at 359 Barlows Landing Road in Pocasset 12 months a year. Pleaser stop by.

I hope that the show was a good one Hollis...We sold a couple more of your pots in the gallery this week!
I'm heading out for my first preview this morning.
Cold with a bit of sun Saturday, no sun and blowing all day Sunday. But lots of nice people. It's always a good show that way, connecting with people I only see in Wellfleet, who always tell me how they use the pots they buy from me there. The show was worth doing, though sales were down by maybe a third. Sell out those LibertyTown pots!

Great looking mugs Hollis.
The only thing that's worse than packing to go to a show, is packing up at the end of a show!
Thanks, Doug. And you're right about packing up after it's over. Especially for this particular show, where it's cold, windy and dark by the time everything's done.
