The Dark Time

I am a maker of functional clay work on Cape Cod. I work at The Barn Pottery in Pocasset with my life partner Kimberly Sheerin. Kim has worked in this studio more than 20 years. I joined her here four years ago, leaving my former Hatchville Pottery in Falmouth. We work together, making our own work, but occasionally collaborating. We're open at 359 Barlows Landing Road in Pocasset 12 months a year. Pleaser stop by.

Your dug out squres are an excellent canvas for your shino pallett and really show off your glazing asthetics really well. Fantastic work.
Thanks. They're developing ...
Who needs a wheel?! I'm still loving those cups, Hollis. The photo reminded me of the chinese soldiers that were excavated, all in a row.
How's the garden going?
Tomato and eggplant plants are in. Gotta get the rest of the plants and the seeds in in the next week, before we head off to Seattlefor visit with the kids. And thanks on the cups. I've been enjoying digging out the square forms and the funky large teabowls. Now ... to figure out how to sell them.
I like these little squared pots very much. Looks like an exciting kiln load.
talk about gnarly... they're a bit yum!!
Definitely gnarly. Now ... how to present them?
