Extending the season ...

I was walking out to the mail box this evening, just as the sun had gone down and the sky was darkening. Had to walk past the lighted sign on Boxberry Hill Road and I loved the way the Christmas lights were brightening the dusk. So I got the mail and went back in and got my camera to post one last shot at the 2009 holiday season.
Technically, I don't think the Magi have made it to Bethlehem yet ...

It's one of my favorite light displays this year.

Thanks, Barry. It's pretty garish for us, but I like it on these cold, dark nights. For the rest of you, Barry and his wife live about a half dozen houses down the road from us. And yes, Tracey, it's cold. And damp. Winter on Cape Cod.

Great Picture and I would like to think you are covered up with customers all bundled up with the thoughts of cups for coffee and tea, bowls for soup and oatmeal.
Stay warm- it freaking cold out there!

the somewhat blurry effect of the bulbs is perfect, I can just feel the crisp cold air

I'll happily take chile lights, Brenda. Remind you to tell me the family story about them some time. And yes, Meredith, I think the customers are bundled up and not leaving their houses. This is the time to be alone and working in the studio.
