A great day today at Falmouth High School. Doug and Hannah are natural entertainers and pottery educators. I won't write much tonight. Let the photos tell the story. Suffice to say that the workshop participants in Fredericksburg, Va., and Shelby, NC, have a treat in store for them. Oh, and we're flying the Union flag on the sign outside our house, customary when the Queen is in residence. Well ... OK ... it's a tea towel. But it serves the purpose.

I've got to do a post on the last day of the workshop. Will do that in a bit. But the slip trailers are inner tube corked and taped at one end, a hole through the cork through which pushes the clear plastic body of a cheap Bic-type pen, through which the slip flows. (Some of the tips are narrower than others, she'll have to tell you those details.) At the loading end of the tube is a simple office paper clips, the clamping kind, that holds the upper end closed.

I was looking at a mug i acquired a few years back it was signed fritch 93 on the bottom under that it had so or30 not sure so i looked up this site it also has a leather strap. just was interested about it history.Thanks,Murchison
